International Day of Persons with Disabilities -3 Dec 2010 // World Disability Day - 3rd December 2010

On 3rd December 2010 Hon President of India, Prime Minister of India, CP-UPA on behalf of Government of India will be addressing the nation their concern & best wishes to the Persons with Disability along some directives for betterment. The entire object of the Government will be covered by electronic media and news papers for awareness of general public and government organizations.

It may be expected that keeping in view the neglect, differential treatment, harassment & insults made by some local District administration to the Persons with Disabilities, Government will add few lines (Specimen placed below for ready reference) to arrest such treatments in future instead be sympatric to PWDs.

“District administration should ensure that no harassment is made to PWDs & their cases / issues are dealt with sympathy and expediously”
